DESERT SAFARI

This unique tour will take you to the desert of Cholistan, which was once well watered river Hakra. All along the 500 km of dried up river is over 400 archaeological sties, which date back to the Indus Valley civilization 4550 years ago. Mounted on camel back, visit desert villages, nomadic settlements, shrines of Sufi Saints and ancient forts. By night, around warm campfire, enjoy folk song of Cholistani nomadic people. The Safari ends at Lal Sohanra National Park, situated at the edge of Cholistan Desert. Different species of animals and birds are found in plenty in this national park. Aged 18 years and above.


ITINERARY

Day 01: Arrival at Islamabad international airport & transfer to designated hotel along with your luggage. In the afternoon and evening sightseeing of twin cities Islamabad/Rawalpindi. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02: Transfer by private bus to Lahore, half of the day city tour of Lahore. Overnight
Day 03: Drive to Multan PM city tour. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: Drive to Bahawalpur and later proceed to Derawar Fort in Cholistan Desert. Overnight stay in the tents.
Day 05: Camel rides to Kota Wala Toba Overnight stay in the tents.
Day 06: Camel rides to the nearby villages An unforgettable day on camel backs. Overnight stay in the tents.
Day 07: Camel to the Derawar Fort, later continue by Jeeps to Chanan Pir. Overnight stay in the tents.
Day 08: Drive to Uch Shareef the mystic center of Punjab. Visit the spectacular tombs of Jewendi Bibi & Hazrat Jalaluddin Surkh later proceed to Punjnad Camp on the river side.

Day 09: Drive to Multan Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 10: In the morning drive to Lahore, in the afternoon and evening sightseeing of Lahore.

Day 11: Drive to Islamabad and transfer to airport for flight to the next destination.
