Detail Itinerary
Day 01 RAWALPINDI - ISLAMABAD:
(Hotel & Trek Briefing). You will be greeted at airport and
transferred to comfortable centrally located hotel. Reminder
of the day is free for you to relax and recovered from long
flight to Pakistan. In the after noon, for those who desire
there will be a tour of Pakistan’s capital Islamabad and
bustling bazaar of Rawalpindi. In the evening we have a
welcome dinner where you will have the opportunity to meet
your guide and other member of group. Overnight stay at
hotel.
Day 02 RAWALPINDI – CHILAS:
(Drive & Hotel).
Morning after break fast drive 11-12 hrs on famous Karakorum
Highway. En route we will stop for photography, toilet break
and lunch at Chatar or Besham. O/N stay in hotel.
Day 03: CHILAS – SKARDU:
(Drive & Hotel).
After Break fast drive 9-10 hrs to Skardu, en route stop at
“Junction Point of World great Mountain Ranges” Himalaya,
Karakorum & Hindukush and view point of Killer mountain
“Nanga Parbat”. O/N Stay in hotel.
Day 05 SKARDU:
(Hotel & Sightseeing). Hire porters and purchase supplies in
Skardu and free time for sightseeing. O/N stay in hotel.
Day 06: SKARDU – CHOKKE
VILLAGE: Drive half
an hour to Kachura and then 2 hrs easy walk to Chokke
village and camp there. The Chokke River is known for trout
and supposed to be one of the best fishing spots in the
Northern Areas. O/N stay in camp.
Day 07-9: CHOKKE – ALAMPIR
HIGH CAMP: camping
along the Chokke River, walking through some of most remote
villages of Baltistan and summer pastures with herds of
grazing Yak and Zhoza and the lush green slopes which will
bring us to the outskirts of Alampir high camp. O/N stay in
camp.
Day 10: ALAMPIR HIGH CAMP -
KHANS: This is
going to be hard day because we start our ascent to Alampir
Pass (4545m). The panoramic view of the pass is really
incredible. The famous Nanga Parbat (8126m) is on one side
and Deosai Plains on the other side. After spending some
time on the pass we will start our descent towards a
beautiful village known as Khan on the other side of Alampir
Pass in the Astore valley. O/N stay in camp.
Day 11: KHANS – GUDIA:
6-7 hrs walk will take us to Gudia a village of Astore
valley. Jeeps would be waiting there to take us to Astore
proper and the picturesque Rama Lake with pine trees, lush
green slopes and above all the Majestic Nanga Parbat (8126m)
towering over the valley. O/N stay in camp.
Day 12: GUDIA (ASTORE) -
CHILAS: Morning
after b/fast drive by van to Chilas, en route you will have
ample time to pilgrim the junction of three great mountain
ranges of the world and again Naked mountain NANGAPARBAT.
O/N stay in camp.
Day 12- 14:
Commence return journey via same route to Islamabad, upon
arrival drive to concern department for debriefing. In The
evening transfer to airport for onward journey to their
sweet home. End of services.
